Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable simplification of structure and compact assembly in a speed change control gear by integrating engaging and disengaging operations of a clutch body which makes three-speed changes so as to be able to control one system of shift mechanism by means of one control lever. CONSTITUTION:Clutch bodies 79, 87 are installed to be able to freely slide in reciprocation between change toothed wheels 53, 55, 57 on a change shaft 43. Shifters 93, 95 are fixed on a shifter stay 91. When the shifter stay 91 is moved to the left, the clutch body 79 is engaged with an engaging part 51, and power is transmitted from a main change shaft 31 to a subsidiary change shaft 43. When the shifter stay 91 is moved to the right, the clutch body 79 is engaged with an engaging part 59, and power is transmitted from the main change shaft 31 and toothed wheels 63, 65, 69 to the subsidiary change shaft 43. When the shifter stay 91 is further moved to the right, the clutch 87 is to be engaged with an enaging part 61.
