Abstract
PURPOSE: To form a thick oxide film on Al or an Al alloy in a short time by fluidized anodic oxidation by spouting an electrolytic soln. having a specified Al concn. on the metal and by fluidizing the soln. while in contact with the metal.
CONSTITUTION: Cathodes 2 are suspended in an electrolytic cell 1, and an anode 3 of Al or an Al alloy to be treated is put between the cathodes 2. An electrolytic soln. spouting nozzles 4 are arranged among the cathodes 2 and the anode 3, and an electrolytic soln., that is, an electrolytic sulfuric acid soln. having 21W50g/l Al concn. or above is spouted on the cathode 3. The soln. reaches the cathode 3 uniformly, and the soln. in the cell 1 is well agitated and fluidized. Thus, an oxide film is formed on each cathode 3 surface, that is, each Al or Al alloy surface.
