Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of material during working by forming a roll for spinning to conical form having a preliminary processing working face and a spinning face. CONSTITUTION:The conical face of outer surface of a working roll 1 is arranged to make the space for the outer surface of a mandrel 4 different along the generating line, and the working roll 1 is also so arranged that the small diameter side is positioned on the large diameter side of the mandrel 4. When spinning is made by shifting the working roll 1 from the small diameter side to large diameter side of the mandrel 4, the conical face of the working roll 1 comes into contact with the material 5, and sucessively the large diameter part contacts with the material. The material is tilted by an angle alpha0 due to contact of the conical face with the material 5, and the thickness t1 of the tilted part becomes greater than the thickness before working. Since working by spinning face 2 is made on the part where apparent thickness t1 becomes greater than the thickness before working by preliminary processing working face, breakage is difficult to occur.
