Abstract

PURPOSE:To display a warning corresponding to the simultaneous feed of copy papers, by detecting the simultaneous feed of copy papers forming a paper material which is fed continuously and displaying the number of left copy papers to warn of this simultaneous feed. CONSTITUTION:A copy paper S is fed through a driving roller 32 and an inverted roller 32', and these rollers 32 and 32' are turned. When copy papers S1 and S2 are fed simultaneously, the coefficient of friction is changed, and the roller 32' is not turned, and only the roller 32 is turned to feed the copy paper S1, and the feed of the copy paper S2 is stopped. The occurrence of this simultaneous feed is detected by a photo sensor 157 which detects a hole 158 of a disc 156, which is turned while interlocked with the roller 32', to generate a pulse, and the copy paper feed pulse is not generated from the sensor 157, and the number of left copy papers is displayed through a CPU on a copy paper number set display equipment or the like to display surely the warning corresponding to the simultaneous feed for continuous copying.
