Abstract
PURPOSE:To lessen variation of the rotating force and the number of revolutions and to enhance the efficiency by adjusting automatically the inclination angle of blades of a windmill etc. in accordance with the strength of the wind and also adjusting the direction of the windmill automatically in accordance with the direction of the wind. CONSTITUTION:The post 8 is supported by a rotary member 7 in such a way as able to revolve in a certain specified extent, and blades 9 are formed by a canvass or any appropriate sheet stretched over a part defined by the post 8 and blade frames 9a, 9b. A rod or a brace 12 is to couple two ring-shaped members 8a of each post 8 and the post form is retained facing the front. A spring 14 is set compressed between the post supporter 6 and a slide ring 13 so as to push the slide ring 13 toward the upper flow side of the wind. This spring 14 expands and shrinks according to the strength of the wind and rotates the post 8. The wind force is utilized still more effectively with a wind direction plate 16 which shall direct the windmill always in the right direction.
