Abstract

PURPOSE:To equalize the quality of moldings by eliminating the dispersion of the opening degree of molds by using a system in which the opening degree of fixed and movable molds, which is necessary of two-stage clamping of the molds, is controlled by the stroke of a mold-clamping piston. CONSTITUTION:A mold holding piston 13 is moved to the left by sending an oil pressure, and also a mold clamping piston 11 is moved to the right likewise. And, a movable mold is moved toward the mold clamping direction through a toggle link mechanism. Then, a stopper ring 12 comes into contact with the stopper piston 14 of the rod 15 of the piston 13 pressed on a regulating stopper 16 and stopped. The transfer of a cross head is stopped and the first stage mold clamping is made. Under the condition, a molten resin is injected, the second stage mold clamping is made through the toggle link mechanism, and then the cavity is cooled and a molding is taken out.
