Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure that water quality after a treatment meets the requirements of the effluent standard by a method wherein waste water containing a sludge and hydrazine is passed through a filter, is then subjected to diffused aeration in the presence of metallic copper or a copper salt solution and is introduced into an ion exchange resin tower.
CONSTITUTION: The waste water 3 discharged at the time of sludge lancing for a steam generator (S/G) A is passed through a filter unit 4 to remove the sludge, is stored in a recirculating tank 5 and is reused as recirculating water 6 to wash away the sludge on an S/G tube plate B. As the amount of injection water 2 fed from a high-pressure jet pump 1 is increased, an excess of waste water in the tank 5 is fed into effluent receiving tanks 7, 8 and is fed through a pump 10 into the ion exchange resin tower 9, where hydrazine and the like are removed. Cleaned waste water 11 discharged from the tower 9 is stored in a discharge tank 12.
