Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and the heat exchange efficiency, by forming ridges, which can also serve as spacers to secure air passages, on each heat exchange plate with the rear side of each ridge forming a groove, and laminating a plurality of the thus formed heat exchange plates. CONSTITUTION:Heat exchange plates 2, 3 are formed with ridges 4, 15, which also serve as spacers for securing primary and secondary air passages 27, 28, with the rear side of ridges 4, 15 forming grooves, and a plurality of such plates are laminated one above the other. A primary air 29 is flowed into air inlets 11, passed through the primary air passages 27, and discharged from air outlets 10, and a secondary air 30 is passed through the secondary air passages 28, and is discharged from air outlets 20. In this process, the primary and secondary air are passed in the primary and secondary air passages 27, 28 contercurrently, and the heat exchange is effected through the heat exchange plates 2, 3. Therefore, as the area of heat exchange is large, the efficiency can be improved.
