PURPOSE:To enable supply of hot water higher than a condensing temperature of a heat pump cycle by providing a circulating waterway, a heating heat exchanger and a temperature and flow controller. CONSTITUTION:A hot water supply device is constituted by a heat pump cycle heater consisting of a compressor 1, a vaporizer 4, a heating heat exchanger 13 and an expansion system 3 which are connected in this order through a coolant piping with each other, a regenerator 6 and a auxiliary heater 19, the heating heat exchanger 13 is turned into a forced circulating heat exchanger which forcibly circulate water in a regenerator 6, a temperature control system 16 which fixes a temperature of hot water at an outlet of the heating heat exchanger is provided, and a pressure detector 27, which detects a high pressure of the heat pump cycle and causes to switch to the operation of a heater when the pressure exceeds a predetermined value, is constituted for an effective operation of the heat pump with a minimal energy.
