Abstract
PURPOSE:To lower the rate of exhausted product at the starting time for rated load, by increasing the excess rate of air at the time of rated load by feeding the air so that the equivalent ratio is made 1 at the starting time. CONSTITUTION:Ignition property is stabilized, complete combustion is performed, and the rate of generation of CO is decreased in a gas turbine combustor, by making the air fuel ratio in this area large by arranging the apparatus in the manner so that the equivalent ratio in the primary combustion area A is to be nearly 1 at the starting time. At the time of the rated load, the excess rate of air in the primary combustion area A is made large, so that the rate of reaction between oxygen and nitrogen in the air is decreased, as a result, the rate of generation of NOX is decreased. With the above-mentioned arrangement, the rate of exhausted matter from the combustor at the starting time and the time of rated load is decreased.
