Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A disturbance or the like is applied to a magnetic tape 2 to be tanscribed or a magnetic tape 4 for transcription which are rolled out of the 1st and 2nd tape supply reels 1 and 2 respectively. As a result, the balance is lost for the tape tension of both tapes 2 and 4, and thus a tension arm 7 having the differential force of the tape tension of both tapes is attracted by either one of both tapes that has the tape tension which relatively increases to receive properly a rotary displacement toward an arrow and centering on a support shaft 8. The extent of displacement of the arm 7 is detected by a detecting means 16 in the form of a voltage change component.
