Abstract

PURPOSE:A pack that is composed mainly of calcined gypsum and, preferably solidification accelerator or retarder, thus exerting effect on the circulation of blood and metabolism of skin by heat generation of calcined gypsum and further allowing the skin to be fixed. CONSTITUTION:A calcined gypsum, e.g., prepared by heating naturally occurring gypsum at 110-120 deg.C, is used as the major component and additives such as zinc oxide, sodium chloride, synthetic aluminum silicate, iron red oxide or iron yellow oxide, a solidification accelerator such as sodium chloride or sodium sulfate or a solidification retarder such as gelatin, animal glue or agar, when necessary, oil, perfumes and antiseptic are added thereto. The resultant composition is added to a humectant to give the objective mudpack. EFFECT:It can be applied without being worried about break of skin tension, even when the skin is moved during the treatment.
