PURPOSE: The titled composition excellentin in heat insulating property and coat strength. which comprises a potassium titanate fiber, an inorg. filler of high refractive index and an org. binder.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. (on a solid base) org. binder such as an amide-alkyd resin is compounded with 5W50pts.wt. potassium titanate fiber of farmula K2O. mTiO2.nH2O (wherein m is a positive real number; n is 0 or a positive real number), 0.1W2μ in diameter and 10W100μ in length, and 5W50pts.wt. inorg. filler of refractive index ≥1.5, specific grovity ≤2 and particle size 10μW1mm, such highly sefractive glass.
