Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the amount of run of tape easy and to make the size of a cassette tape recorder small, by providing an electronic display section on a cassette cover which is opened and closed freely for the display of amount of run of tape. CONSTITUTION:An electronic type tape counter 16 which displays amount of run of tape is provided near a cassette tape transparent window 15 on a cassette cover 13 which is capable of loading/unloading of a cassette vertically at opening. This counter 16 is connected to a tape counter control circuit 54 in response to the detection of rotation of a reel stand 50 via a connecting terminal 53 at the opening of the cover where the cassette is loaded for the display of amount of run of tape. With this constitution, the confirmation of amount of run of tape is easy and the cassette tape recorder is made small in size.
