Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform flaw detection without surface treatment even for the material to be checked having a coarse surface, by using polyester resin as an intermediate medium which covers the surface of the material to be checked. CONSTITUTION:In the material to be checked 1 having the defect 6 in the inside thereof, the intermediate medium 2 comprising the polyester resin is poured, and the flaw is detected by a flaw detector 3. In this method, even for the material to be checked having the coarse surface, the flaw can be detected without the surface treatment by the use of a glinder and the like. Therefore, the rate of the cleaning work on the surface to be checked can be reduced.
