Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to obtain a chattering free output signal by a method wherein lapse of time is obtained at first by an external interruption process with an ignition signal and an ignition signal process is made for more than predetermined period, in an electronic control device for a time sharing process.
CONSTITUTION: Keeping previously operated lapse of time in memory as a free running counter value at an initial stage of a time sharing process with an ignition signal a, a counter value at the time of this interruption is read and a difference time interval between the foregoing values are operated. An ignition signal process is carried out when this time interval is longer than a fixed period but the process is not carried out when the interval is shorter than the fixed period. The fixed period is an interval from a downturn point g of an output signal b to a time when chattering is not occurring, for example the fixed period t is selected. Thus, a wrong interruption operation through the chattering is prevented by a softwave process.
