Abstract

PURPOSE: To attempt to miniaturize electromagnetic values and make it possible to automatically control the fuel pressure by arranging a pressure increasing mechanism and check valves in a fuel injecting device.
CONSTITUTION: An oil pressure of a low oil pressure source 3 is cuased to act on an operating oil chamber 14 at one end of a change-over valve 5 through an electromagnetic valve 11, and the fuel is sent back to a fuel reservoir tank through an electromagnetic valve 12. Further, an oil pressure of a high oil pressure source 2 is caused to act on an operating oil chamber 18 at the outer side of the change-over valve 5. Within bores 7 and 6 formed at the lower part of the lower chamber 18, there are arranged unitarily a large-diameter piston 9 and a small-diameter plunger 8 to form a pressure increasing mechanism. The low oil pressure source 2 communicates with check valves 25a and 24 and a nozzle 10, and further a spill circuit consisting of a pump chamber 23, vertical holes 26 and 28 and a spill passage 26a. The spill passage 26a communicates with a tank 16 through the check valve 25b thereby to perform the fuel pressure regulation.
