Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain corrosion resistant steel products coated with a zinc alloy by hot dipping by enclosing a range, where the alloy stuck to the surfaces of steel products passed through a zinc alloy hot dipping bath contg. a specified amount of Mg and Al is at an unsolidified state with a sealing box and carrying out hot dipping under an atmosphere having a specified oxygen concn. CONSTITUTION:Steel products are passed through a zinc alloy hot dipping bath contg. 0.1-2.5wt% Mn and 0.1-3wt% Al to stick the alloy to the surfaces of the products. Part of all of a range where the stuck alloy is at an unsolidified state is enclosed with a sealing box, and hot dipping is carried out under an atmosphere having <=5,000ppm oxygen concn.
