Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled adhesive composition whose peeling strength is heightened by adding a powder polymer having a specified particle diameter and a specified specific gravity to one of the packs of a two-pack acrylic monomer type adhesive comprising a solution containing a peroxide and a solution containing a reducing agent.
CONSTITUTION: The first solution is prepared by adding an organic peroxide such as cumene hydroperoxide to a (meth)acrylate monomer such as an alkyl acrylate, and the second solution is prepared by adding, to a (meth)acrylate monomer, a reducing agent which, together with said peroxide, is capable of forming a redox catalyst system, such as a thioamide. Then, titled two-pack adhesive composition is prepared by adding 1W10pts.wt. (per 100pts.wt. adhesive composition) powder polymer, particle diameter 0.1W0.5mm, difference in gravity from the solution below 0.3, such as PE or PP, to at least one of the first and second solutions. A composition in which one of the first and second solutions does not contain the (meth) acrylate monomer is also possible, and in this case a solvent is used in place of the monomer, if necessary.
