Abstract

PURPOSE: To make construction simple by running a focusing motor at a high speed when a photographic lens is away from the focusing position and at a low speed when it is near the same, and running the motor reversely via switches in infinite and shortest distance photographing positions.
CONSTITUTION: The outputs of two photoelectric elements 9, 10 which are provided in equivalent positions on the film plane by leaving a micro distance are passed through a differential amplifier and are compared with threshold values Vr+, Vr- in comparators 16, 17. Depending upon which output is L, the moving direction of a photographic lens is judged. The outputs thereof run a motor 31 via gates 21, 22, FF 23, gates 28, 29 and an amplifier 30. The outputs of the photoelectric elements 9, 10 are compared with Vr+ in comparators 18, 19, and run the motor 31 slowly near the focusing region and fast away from there via a gate 20 then through an oscillating circuit 32, and a gate 27. In infinite and shortest photographing positions, switches 24, 25 go on to run the motor 31 reversely. Hence, the construction is made simple.
