Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish a determination at a high accuracy with an inexpensive facility and easy handleability by employing a polystylene bead sensitizing a human immune β2-microglobulin antibody and a peroxidase based human immune microglobulin antibody.
CONSTITUTION: A polystylene bead sensitizing a human immune β2-microglobulin is dipped into a dilute of a test piece such as serum, plasma and urine, shaked and allowed to stand. β2-microglobulin (antigen) is connected to the human immune β2-microglobulin fixed on the bead left undissolved in a liquid being tested. After the bead is washed, it is immersed in a liquid containing a peroxidase based human immune β2-microglobulin. In this manner, an enzime based antibody is connected to the antigen connected to the antibody on the bead. After excessive enzime based antibody is washed away, the content of the β2-microglobulin in the liquid being tested undergoes colorimetric determination with the oxidation effect of peroxidase as an indicator.
