Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cold-rolled sheet steel for working of superior surface quality by heating a cold-rolled sheet steel in a radiation heating furnace, thence soaking the same for a specific time in the furnace in a specific temp. range, then gas-liquid cooling the same from temp. above 600 deg.C down to over-aging treatment temp., and pickiling the sheet steel after subjecting the same to over-aging treatment and secondary cooling. CONSTITUTION:A cold-rolled sheet steel is raised of temperature and heated in a radiation heating furnace, thence it is soaked in the radiation heating furnace for >=10sec in a temp. range from recrystallization temp. up to Ac3 point. Following to this, it is subjected to gas-liquid cooling at 10-300 deg.C/sec cooling rates from the temp. above 600 deg.C down to around the over-aging treatment temp. as primary cooling. An N gas is preferable as a gas to be used and water as the liquid. After the primary cooling, it is subjected to over-aging treatment of <=3min in a 300- 550 deg.C temp. range. and secondary cooling, after which it is pickled. After the pickling, it is rinsed and in order to prevent the formation of rust, it is desirable to neutralize the same with an alkali soln.
