Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize a quick and easy correction for the input of the erroneous data caused by a misoperation of the decimal point key without changing the displayed numerical value but by shifting only the position of the decimal point, by providing the key which shifts the position of decimal point right and left.
CONSTITUTION: The control device CPU is provided to the electronic apparatus such as an electronic desk calculator, teller's machine or the like; and the display device DSP, arithmetic control device ALU plus the registers R1, R2, DP1 and DP2 are connected to the control device CPU via the bus B. Furthermore the keyboard KB is connected to input the data to the CPU, and the numerical key group NK, function key group FK and the decimal point key are provided to the keyboard KB. At the same time, the key is provided to give a right and left shifts to the position of decimal point. Thus the data inputted from the group NK or the data of arithmetic result is displayed on the device DSP, and only the position of decimal point is shifted by an operation of the shift key of the position of decimal point and without changing the displayed numerical value. As a result, the erroneous data caused by a misoperation of the decimal point key can be corrected in a quick and easy way.
