Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance dust removing efficiency, reduce size and weight, and improve assembling characteristic by mounting an air cleaner provided with an electrostatic filter to the suction port of a compressor.
CONSTITUTION: After air contg. dust is sucked through an air intake port 5a, high voltage is applied to discharge plates 1b and dust collecting plates 1c through a high- tension cable 3, to adsorb the dusts in the air on the dust collecting plates 1c to remove the dust. The dust collection from large dust particles to fine dust particles is made possible by suitably selecting the applied voltage and the shape and sizes of the discharge plates 1b and dust collecting plates 1c. Thence, the purified air is introduced into the suction port 7a of a compressor 7 through an exhaust pipe 6 and a suction air blocking valve 7.
