Abstract
PURPOSE: To surely feed treating material into a pressure roll section by reciprocatively moving a treating material forcing body toward a squeezing surface while allowing the same to inscribe the bottom surface of a hopper, in feeding material such as livestock excrements having no fluidity to a separation treating section.
CONSTITUTION: When lumped materials having not so much fluidity, such as livestock excrements force compacted in stock houses are conveyed with a conveyor 29 and are charged into a hopper 12, the treating material is shaped off by as much as the thickness of a treating material forcing body 13 by said body 13 which is oscillating reciprocatively while inscribing the hopper bottom surface 12a and is pushed out toward the inlet side of a sqeezing surface, thence it is forced to the squeezing surface by the leading end part of the body 13. The material having been forced is nabbed between a pressing roll 4 and a filter drum 1, and is compressed and dehydrated. The water content flows through the metallic screen on the surface into the drum 1 and flows down therefrom, thence it is discharged by passing through a trough 5 or receiving tray 6 then through a discharge pipe 6a. The dehydrated mateial is scraped off by a scraper 7.
