Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a rotary electric machine having a cage winding of a stably fixed structure, by providing a subslot at a given position on inside circumferential surface of an iron core slot to which a cage winding is to be inserted and inserting a spring material into said subslot. CONSTITUTION:A subslot is provided at a given position on inside circumferential surface of the slot, and a material 5 having spring effect is inserted into said subslot. Because the cage winding 1 is imparted, by doing so, with a fixing force from the spring material 5 at all times, the cage winding 1 is prevented from loosening even when operating for a long period of time, and therefore, it is possible to obtain a rotary electric machine of high reliability.
