Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the projection drawing point luminance of an illuminated signboard for advertisement and a moving picture projector or the like by the constitution consisting in connecting one end of multiple optical fibers to a projector and the other end to a projection screen.
CONSTITUTION: Respective optical fibers 2 are bundled densely at one end and regularly disposed to the front surface of a projector 3. The image projected from the projector 3 is transmitted optically from a projection screen 1.. The screen 1 consists of a screen substrate 4 to which the optical fibers 2 are mounted and a transparent dustproof cover 5 provided to the front surface thereof, and a concave lens 7 is formed to the cover 5 opposing to the insertion holes 6 of the fibers 2. The light emitted from the end faces of the fibers 2 is widely diffused by the lens 7, and is diffused to the outside by way of the cover 5.
