Abstract
PURPOSE:To establish the angular difference of the output shaft of a motor electrically at an arbitrary value by digitally adding the drift angle to the output of a standard phase generator and synchronously rotating a synchronous motor. CONSTITUTION:The standard phase generator 1 generates the binary coded output of 12 bits. Thus, the sequentially increasing digital numbers are periodically outputted. Said output is added to the output of a setting switch 3 which sets the phase difference of the motor 4 in an adder 2, and the result is added to a subtractor 6. To the subtractor 6, is supplied the present angle of the motor 4 via an absolute phase detector 5 as a digital quantity. The difference between both signals is added to a judging unit 7. The judging unit 7 determines whether the angular difference between the generator 1 and the motor 4 is within 180 deg. or not. If it is within 180 deg., the decelerating instruction is given to a control unit 8. If it exceeds 180 deg., the accelerating instruction is given. Then, the control unit 8 controls the motor 4.
