Abstract

PURPOSE: To obviate the rocking and the like of the wheels under the influences of the engine brake during antiskid controlling, by using the liquid pressure generated in a master cylinder of a brake system to allow the clutch to be in the disconnected state.
CONSTITUTION: When a force is applied to a braking pedal 1 and therefore a liquid pressure is generated in the master cylinder 2 of the brake system, the liquid pressure is applied through a decompression apparatus 3 to a wheel cylinder 5 to brake the wheels. If the wheels slide, the decompression apparatus 3 is actuated and the braking liquid pressure to the wheel cylinder 5 is lowered. In this case, the liquid pressure generated in the master cylinder 2 can be transmitted to a clutch release cylinder 9 via a slave cylinder 8. Thus even if a liquid pressure is not generated in the master cylinder 7 of the clutch system, the clutch can be in the disconnected state and therefore the wheels will not be influenced by the engine brake during the antiskid controlling.
