Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an image with high contrast and distinction as well as excellent water resistance, light resistance and abrasion resistance by a method wherein a basic dyestuff is used as a coloring component of an aqueous ink as well as an acid earth adsorbing aforementioned dyestuff is contained in a sheet. CONSTITUTION:For example, a basic dyestuff such as Basic Yellow No. 1 or the like is dissolved in water and, according necessity, a shellac, a styrene-acrylic acid copolymer or the like and ethanol or the like are added together to prepare an aqueous ink firstly. On the other hand, a binder such as a styrene-butadiene copolymer latex is added to an acid earth and this mixture is coated on or impregnated into a sheet such as a paper or a film. Then, printing and imaging are carried out on this sheet by using aforementioned aqueous ink. EFFECT:A print or image with excellent ink drying property, solvent resistance, chemical resistance or the like and without stain due to contact immediately after printing is obtained.
