Abstract
PURPOSE:To quickly, suitably correct the asymmetrical component of the shape, by detecting the asymmetrical factor of the shape on the feed-in side of the rolling mill, by operating the forecast for the asymmetrical shape vector from above detected asymmetrical factor, by deciding the manipulating amount needed for making this vector zero, and by actuating the control after a specified time delay. CONSTITUTION:The asymmetrical factor detecting system is constituted of the member position detecting rollers 10, 11, the sheet gauge meters 13, 14, and the thermometers 16, 17, all arranged on both sides of the sheet 1 on the feed-in side of the rolling mill; this asymmetrical factor detecting system detects the asymmetrical factor, whose output is inputted to the asymmetrical vector computer 19 that then computes the asymmetrical shape vector. On the basis of thus computed vector, the manipulating amount operator 22 decides the manipulating amount for each of benders 6, 7, and the screw down devices 8, 9, needed for making the asymmetrical shape vector zero. Moreover, the speed of the sheet 1, which is detected by the sheet speed detecting roller 23 and the speedmeter 24, is inputted to the operator 25, that then operates the time to be delayed and produces a signal to the screw command unit 27 and the bender command unit 28, in order to delay the manipulation for a specified period of time.
