Abstract
PURPOSE: To always provide a constant output irrespective of changes of water level by journalling rollers and sliders at the opposite ends of floats, slidably fitting the sliders on vertical supports and passing an endless belt carrying a succession of buckets round the rollers.
CONSTITUTION: At the opposite ends of floats 2, rollers 1 and sliders 5 are mounted on shafts 3. The sliders 5 are slidably fitted on vertical supports 4 erected from water bottom. An endless belt 6 carrying a succession of buckets 7 is passed round the rollers 1. Thus, if the floats 2 are vertically displaced according to the water level, the rollers 1 are also vertically displaced. Consequently, lower portions of the rollers 1 are always found in water to permit a constant output to be always obtained irrespective of changes of the water level.
