Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent freezing and the attachment of snow on panel surfaces by a method wherein a surface member downward extending being made in the same plane is mounted to the lower end edges of solar cell panels titled at a fixed angle so that waterdrops flow on surfaces under a natural condition. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of solar cell panels 1 are collected in plane shapes, the collected panels are surrounded by a mounting frame 2 made up in the same plane as the panels 1, and silicon rubber, etc. having an excellent climate resisting property are each coked to the joints of each panel and joints with the frame 2 to prevent the collection of thawed water. The frame 2 is supported by means of a holder 4 being formed at an angle that water naturally flows down, and an extending plate 3 downward extending being made in the same plane is mounted to a lower end edge of the frame 2 so as not to collect water. A lower end of the extending plate 3 is bent vertically, and water is easy to be dropped while the plate 3 is also made fill the role of a reinforcing plate. Thus, the lowering of generating efficiency due to snow and freezing is avoided.
