Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture a reflective type screen with high precision and fine unevenness in one process, by producing vacuum between the forming surface of a female pattern and metal foil on it and by forming the foil and liquid synthetic resin in one body by pressing said resin in the gap between the metal foil and an upper pattern on the metal foil.
CONSTITUTION: On forming surface 3 of female pattern 2, metal foil 1 is placed with the mirror surface side opposed to surface 3 and then pressed by upper pattern 6 and they are hermetically sealed by sealing 5. After exhausing through exhaust holes 4c, 4b and 4a, thermoplastic resin (or thermosetting resin before setting) 7 having been made plastic by being heated by heater 11 is pressed in by screw 10 via nozzle 9. After resin 7 is solidified 8 by cooling, the screen having foil 1 reinforced by resin 8 can be parted easily from forming surface 3 by pressing air reversely in exhaust hole 4c. Thus, the high-precision screen having no air bubble remaining between surface 3 and foil 1 can be manufactured easily in one process.
