Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure a highly efficient collection of data, by securing instantaneous and automatic working of the backup function in case the data processor has a breakdown, recording the data sent from an automatic inspeciting device to the output device and then transferring the data to the data processor after resetting.
CONSTITUTION: The data collection controller 2 is provided between the data processor 1 and various types of automatic testing devices T1WTn along with installation of the output device 3 such as the paper tape puncher or the like to store the output data of the controller 2. Here if some fault occurs to the processor 1, the processor 1 generates the fault signal which is then detected by the fault monitor of the controller 2. In addition, the automatic switching circuit of the controller 2 works to switch the data sent from the devices T1WTn from the processor to the device 3 and then record them to the device 3. Then the data of the device 3 is transferred to the processor 1 after the fault is recovered. As a result, the data are collected in a high efficiency.
