Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve reliability of trouble detection in a speed controller of an elec- tric motor by judging a rotation detector to be out of order if a rotating body is energized for more than a fixed time without output of the rotation detector. CONSTITUTION:The output pulse of a rotation detector 1 is detected by a rotation level detector 2. If this value is less than the lowest rotation control area, the output of the rotation detector 1 is judged to be zero, and a relay 6 is made nonexcitation state. Then, the output of a current detector 7 that detects energizing current of the rotating body is detected by a current level detector 8. If this value is higher than the minimum current control current, the rotating budy is judged to be energized, and a relay 9 is made a excitation state. Then, the time between the nonexcitation state of the relay 6 and excitation state of the relay 9 is measured with a timer 10. If this continues for a fixed time, the rotation detector 1 is judged to be out of order. In this way, reliability of the trouble detecting device of the rotation detector can be improved.
