Abstract

PURPOSE: To clarify a meaning of a translated word by a little memory capacity, by deciding a supplementary word for supplementing a meaning of a translated word to language, and the display form of a translated word and a supplementary word, and also deciding the kind of a supplementary code to be added to the translated word and the supplementary word.

CONSTITUTION: A word which has been input by the word input key 1w is encoded by the encoder 2, and is input to the memory 10. Also, each information of the buffers 13, 14 and the generation part 16 is provided to the compound part 17, the supplementary word for supplementing the meaning of the translated word, and the display form of the translated word and the supplementary word are decided, and they are provided to the display control part.
