Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a double eccentric bearing, which utilizes an inner and an outer bearing sleeves respectively formed with an eccentric hole for enabling to adjust the position of a shaft inserted into the inner bearing sleeve with high accuracy and high degree of freedom.
CONSTITUTION: The inner bearing sleeve 1 formed with the eccentric hole 2 is inserted into the eccentric hole 10 formed in the outer bearing sleeve 9 in the manner freely rotatable around its axis. By loosening a bolt 13, outer bearing sleeve 9 can be turned relative to inner bearing sleeve 1 and a stationary member 7. Similarly, by loosening a bolt 6, inner bearing sleeve 1 can be turned relative to the stationary member 7. Thus, the position of a shaft 8 with respect to the stationary member 7 can be adjusted in a plane perpendicular to the axis of inner bearing sleeve 1 in a direction prependicular at the center of inner bearing sleeve 1.
