Abstract
PURPOSE:To double the amount of recording of information without lowering the quality of reproduced picture, by picking up the signal of one field during scanning of one frame with the switch circuit and mixing and outputting this signal with the signal delayed by unit field scanning time. CONSTITUTION:The disc 1 of disc player is turned in a given speed with the disc motor 3, the beam 5 is projected from the information read-in head 4 on the disc 1 and it is radially fed on the disc with the feed drive 6, and the recorded information is read in by scanning the disc 1 with the beam 5 in spiral. Further, the recording track is in beam scanning with the reproduction beam 5 from the beam converging objective lens 12 to obtain the modulation reflecting beam 13. This beam is converted into electric signal with the reproducing optical detector 14 and fed to the demodulation circuit 16. Further, the reflection lights 17a, 18a of the tracking beams 17, 18 are picked up at the switch circuit 32, this signal is mixed with the signal delaying by unit field scanning time at the mixing circuit 33, and amount of recording can be doubled without lowering the quality of reproduced picture.
