Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the motion of a valve by ataching a valve to an armature disposed within the central space of an electromagnetic coil, resiliently pressing the valve to a valve seat by a spring, the strain of which is proportional to the load applied, and making the valve opening proportional to the electric current supplied to the electromagnetic coil.
CONSTITUTION: The inlet 11 and outlet 12 of a valve casing 1 communicates through a valve chest 13. A valve 2 engageable with a valve seat 14 is disposed in the valve chest 13. When an electromagnetic coil is energized, a permanent magnet 4 is attracted upward against the force of a sping 7 due to mutual action between the magnetic flux generated by the electromagnetic coil and the magnetic flux B generated by the permanent magnet 4 so that the valve 2 is lifted from the valve seat 13 to open the passage. The valve 2 can be lifted by the lifting force proportional to the coil current when the coil spring 7 is adapted to be strained in proportion to the load.
