Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the yield of heavy cut and to inhibit the formation of coke on the surface of a catalyst, by a method wherein (A) a partially nuclear-hydrogenated product of aromatic substance contained in a specified fraction present in products obtd. by catalytic cracking of oil and (B) a heavy oil contg. distillation residue are supplied to the same riser reactor.
CONSTITUTION: An oil is catalytically cracked at a temp. of not higher than 400°C by using silica, alumina, etc. to obtain a product. 10W50% of aromatic nucleus present in a fraction having a boiling range of 200W450°C, which is contained in the above product, is nuclear-hydrogenated to obtain a product A. The product A passing through a line 3a joins in a line 3 a heavy oil B contg. distillation residue from a line 3b. The mixt. is supplied through the line 3 to the lower part of a riser reactor 3. A catalyst which is regenerated in a catalyst regeneration zone 5 is supplied through a line 8 to the reactor 1. Products obtd. by catalytic cracking are discharged to a separation zone 2 having a cyclone separator 9. Hydrocarbon gases are fed to a recovery system. The separated catalyst is drawn out from the lower part of a stripping zone and supplied through a line 6 to the regeneration zone. Part of the regenerated catalyst is fed through a line 8' to the separation zone 2. By using the nucleus-hydrogenated aromatic substance, the yield of heart cut is increased and the formation of coke is inhibited.
