Abstract

PURPOSE: To titled compound almost free from irritant odor and taste, useful as an antiphlogistic analgesic agent of various administration forms, and obtained by including 4-allyloxy-3-chlorophenylacetic acid in cyclodextrin.
CONSTITUTION: The titled clathrate compound is prepared by including 4-allyloxy-3-chloro-phenylacetic acid (A) in cyclodextrin. The inclusion is preferably carried out by the solution process or the kneading process. In the sloution process, the objective compound is prepared by adding the compound (A) or its alcohol solution, etc. to the saturated aqueous solution of cyclodextrin, and stirring the mixture at 20W60°C for 5W10hr; and in the kneading process, the powdery product is obtained by adding the compound (A) to an aqueous paste of cyclodextrin, kneading the mixture at 20W60°C for 3W8hr, and drying the product.
