Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a titled measuring device by securing a free up-down movement of the erythrocyte detector which detects the erythrocyte within the measuring tube, providing a rotor which holds plural numbers of measuring tubes on the circumference of a circle with a certain angle space secured among tubes and then securing a successive correspondence between the detector and the measuring tubes. CONSTITUTION:The erythrocyte detector 91 which detects the erythrocyte in the measuring tube 42 is provided to the titled measuring device in a free updown moving way. And also the rotor 5 is added to hold plural numbers of measuring tubes 42 on the circumference of a circle with a certain angle space secured among the tubes. Then the detector 91 is located so as to opposite to one area on the shift locus of the tube 42, and the rotor 51 is turned by a necessary angle to secure a successive correspondence for the tubes 42 to the detector 91. Thus the initial value of the erythrocyte column is measured for each tube 42, and then a measurement is given to the height of the upper end face of the sedimented erythrocyte column and with every fixed time. Then the sedimentation velocity of erythrocyte is measured from the difference between the height of the erythrocyte column and the initial value.
