Abstract
PURPOSE: To give a clear distinction whether the print-out report is perfect or not, by putting invalid mark to the paper when the detecting means detects the lack of paper under printing and at the same time stopping the working of the printer.
CONSTITUTION: If the paper lack detector 7 detects the lack of paper under printing of the printer 6, the paper lack signal 8 is sent to the CPU1. Thus the buzzer 9 is actuated to let the operator know the lack of paper. At the same time, an invalid mark is put onto the roll paper via the printer 6 to show that the adjustment report printed out onto the roll paper is not complete due to the lack of paper. With print of the invalid mark, the operation is finished without clearing the contents of the RAM4 even in the adjustment mode. As a result, a clear distinction can be secured whether the print-out report is perfect or not although the lack of paper may occur under printing of the report.
