Abstract
PURPOSE:To make combustion assisting operation unnecessary in starting steady operation of an incinerator, by minimizing temperature drop in the furnace by controlling the combustion speed automatically through control of the amount of exhaust combustion gas and supply air at the time of stock fire of incinerator. CONSTITUTION:At the time of stock fire, a predetermined amount of refuse is introduced into the body 4 of a furnace and dampers 18, 19 are closed for preventing release of heat. Then, a program is instructed according to the temperature in the furnace and the opening of a by-pass control valve 21 is controlled for controlling the amount of combustion gas discharged to the outside from the furnace body 4 and the amount of combusting air to be supplied. Thus, combustion speed is controlled to be constant so that it can be maintained until tomorrow morning when operation of the incinerator is started again. Thus, it is enabled to make combustion assisting operation unnecessary.
