Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The coil 1 detects the lightning current when lightning is present. The output of the coil 1 is fed to the electric photo conversion section 7 or 9 via the overvoltage protection gap 2, resistor 4, Zener diode and resistor 5. The illumination of the electric photo conversion section 7 or 9 is fed to the observing unit C via the optical fiber 15 or 16. The minicomputer 26 calculates the level of input signal and displays it. Simultaneously, a constant DC current is fed to the electric photo conversion sections 7 and 9 through the operation of the contol circuit 24, the illumination at that time is observed with the observing unit C and compared and calibrated at the minicomputer 26.
