Abstract
PURPOSE: To stably supply superheated steam by a method wherein a liquid tank filled with a liquid of large heat capacity is provided therein with a superheater and also provided with a heat receiving surface which receives the solar radiation.
CONSTITUTION: The saturated water a fed from a steam/water drum 1 is heated by boiler panels 2 which receive the heat flux A of the solar radiation, and the resulting gas-liquid two-phase flow b returns to the drum 1. The saturated steam c separated is fed into a superheater 3, and taken out from the latter as superheatd vapor d. The superheater 3 is placed within a liquid tank 4 filled with a liquid 4 (e.g., molten salt) having a large heat capacity, and a heat receiving surface 4b receiving the heat flux A of solar radiation is provided on the outside surface of the liquid tank 4. Accordingly, since the steam flowing in the superheater is superheated by the solar heat through a medium, superheated steam is obtained stably with a simple construction.
