Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve theoretical air-fuel ratio faster in the transition period of an engine opeation by making the cycle of an air-fuel ratio control more frequent on the basis of signals from an O2 sensor and throttle sensor in an exhaust system.
CONSTITUTION: Each signal of an O2 sensor 19 and throttle sensor 20 is transmitted to a controller 21 so as to control solenoid valves 14, 15 which act to vary the air breed of a carburetter. The signal of the O2 sensor 19 is compared in a comparator circuit 31 through an amplifying circuit 22, into which circuit 23 a slice level is also input, and furthermore added in an addition circuit 28 via an integration circuit 25 and center valve detector 26. The signal of a throttle sensor 20 is addd in the addition circuit 28 by detecting an acceleration or deceleration state and a signal transmitted from a cycle modulation circuit 29 in accordance with a change during the transition period is superposed in a superposition circuit 30, and a preset signal has non been determined. During such an operation, the generation cycle of output signals from the comparator circuit 31 is made shorter and the control is performed earlier.
