Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomodate all pages only for the number of volumes to be accomodated by allocating each sheet group to each bottle group whose single group consists of n bottles, respectively and accomodating the sheet in a collator.
CONSTITUTION: When the number of preset coping volumes X and that of preset pages Y are input by operating ten-key keyboards, they are stored. When a collator is connected, the data which indicates the number of bottles A and that of bottles to be accomodated B is transferred to the collator and are stored. Then check whether or not B≥Y, i.e. check whether or not the whole of a single copy (consisting of Y pages) is all accomodated in a single bottle. If B≥Y?=NO, the number n required for accomodating Y pages is obtained (the minimum n which satisfies an expression of nB≥Y). Each sheet is allocated to each bottle group whose single group consists of n bottles, respectively and is accomodated in the collator.
