Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to fix the screen for a long time at a photographing time, by arranging the optical lens system of the TV camera and the TV image pickup element orthogonally to each other and by providing a rectangular reflection mirror at the optical connection point of them. CONSTITUTION:Camera optical lens 5 and image pickup element 6 arranged orthogonally to lens 5 are provided in camera box body 2, and the incident light from optical lens 5 is deflected at 90 deg. by reflection mirror 7 and reaches photoelectric converting part 8 of image pickup element 6 and is converted to a video signal. By this constitution, camera box body 2 can be mounted with a shorter length in the axial direction of optical lens 5 in comparison with connection of optical lens 5 and image pickup element 6 on one line. All of the incident light passing through lens 9 for finder is projected as a real image to optical finder 4, and this projection image can be monitored from above camera box body 2.
